Everytime someone acts like the Japanese campaign is at all realistic it makes me want to laugh. I guess all 141 carriers the US built during the war just disappeared right?

Arcade or not, the graphics are pretty amazing, game runs very smooth on my dual core and it is fun as hell to play.

Yeah, i'm surprised at the attention to some details for a game like this. You can shoot unshielded AA guns and batteries off of ships with fighter machine guns. That's some pretty neat attention to damage modeling.
Unfortunately, the visual models don't seem to apply to gameplay. You can gouge entire sections out of an enemy warship and he'll still repair up to 98% health eventually. Just like Klingon Academy. ![]() |
