This has to be to best Christmas ever in GWX for me. I didn't sink a lot of ships

. But when I got back to Kiel I'm told that I got promoted to Kapitanleutnant on December 25, 1939

. Now is that a great Christmas present or what?!

My boat is the U-53 of the 7th Unterseebootsflottille. I had no real reason to pick this boat other than the fact that the number was avilable. I can tell you that my next boat is going to be the famed U-96.
