Default Strange bug...

I'm on patrol in GWX testing my mod. I'm using a fresh, clean GWX install, plus my GUI; no other mods installed - I'm not even using SH3 commander at this point. I have German voices and music is enabled.

Early in my patrol I went into a storm... and ever since then I've had the rain sound playing in a never ending loop... day or night, cloudy or clear, I can hear rain.

I don't think this ever happened to me before... is it a known stock or GWX bug? Is there a fix? I did a quick search but no joy.

Cheers,
OLC

try this:

go to periscope depth and go to the hydrophone and take a quick listen. Then go back to the surface. Does the rain stop?

Tis a stock bug

Rain? Never heard of that...the only one sound that do this in my game is sub surfacing sound - if that is happening i move camera (f12) away from my sub for a moment or go to nav map and use high time compression for couple of seconds and its gone.

(btw: OLC, check your mailbox)--edit: nevermind

Never ran into the rain sound loop but have had other sounds loop. I save gave and reload, so far has always worked.

I've had sounds looping, such as the surface wave-lapping sound when fully submerged, but only after I Alt-Tabbed out of the game and back in. Had to restart the game to cure it.
