Default Help, difficulty settings not saved!

I've had a problem with the difficulty settings. Normally, I set it customized (67-73 percent realism, depending on whether I want the event camera). Other than being unable to wrap my head around the TDC to set up firing solutions I'm fine with 'limited' and 'realistic' everything else.

My problem is everytime I start a career, manual TDC is on. Is this because I set my career to 'hard'? There is no 'custom' setting (Medium difficulty leaves off limited fuel/compressed air which I'm fine dealing with in limited quantities).

What gives?

You need to reset the settings by using the 'options' mode (Radio) in the Office prior to your first career mission. You can also change the settings there during your career.

The "Hard, Very Hard," etc settings for a campaign set them for you (that's all they do).

In the office, on the upper left of the shelf is a radio. Click it and you can customize the settings.

Default Whoops! You accidentally helped me, too...

Hey, this is one time checking first actually paid off! I was trying to solve this same problem before asking for myself. One small step to graduating from Noobieness...
