Default SH4 ?'s

I am a veteran of SH2 and am currently playing SH3 which is awesome, my question is how good is SH4 as I have heard that it is very buggy, is this true?
Thanks.

ssjuggernaut,

SH4 patched to v1.03 with the Trigger Maru Mod v1.62 is an excellent sub-sim imho. If you have good drivers for your hardware, use game settings appropriate for your hardware, and don't corrupt game files by repeatedly installing and deleting a bunch of mods without reading readme files, you'll be enjoying yourself for a long time to come with this software.

There are no securerom issues as the disk is no longer required to be in the drive while playing - since patch 1.03 was released (this was one of my major issues with SH4 at release, I could install but not get past the copyright protection to play the game with a legitimate disk!).

But now, no worries. It's a solid game. I have yet to experience any CTD issues.

after patch 1.3 the game is in good shape now, it still ahs some bugs, but it is very enjoyable and many mods improve it to the point thats its not the same game you bought, if you have the chance you should get it.

As SH3 fan too I've stored it away (my other drive still ready to run) and I've been playing SH4 since its release in UK.

like SH3... SH4 was bugged till 1.3 ... well is still bugged and lacks of several details ( mods have been closing the gaps) So SH4 1.3 with a couple of good mods can now can be served on a silver plate...

The graphs are quite better. The SH3's close runs (reach the objectives) on SH4 takes more time... but is enjoyable and graphs are good...

So have a go if you wish.
