Nah, don't worry about it. Press the '+' key a few times and you'll get to 1024x speed, which is usually about all you need.

I think what he wanted to ask is how do you keep it that way, so it doesn't drop back to 1 when you spot a sampan 50km away.

You might get away with ramming a sampan at hight TC, but it really sucks to be dropped in the middle of a taskforce. If TC doesn't cut out when visual or sonar contact is made, your patrol is going to be one frustrating (even boring) ride.
Unless I'm missing something here....... which is highly likely. ![]() |

![]() Full of confidence I set my course and knocked the TC up to 128 about 10 seconds later I was destroyed sinking out of control. I guess I hadent given them the slip after all ![]() Not to mention those pesky air patrols. |

lol yeah your right, the word "it shouldnt be there. when TC flips back to 1x the contact on the map is gone so how does that guy know they are friendly contacts?
its basically the same problem we had in SH3 with aircraft/ships appearing right next to your sub or zipping by without givin u time to respond. maybe when the patch increases visibility to 20k's this will improve things |
