Default Damage analyzer analysis

Get nailed by aircraft off Hokkaido; long way to go for home. Damage Analyzer says two of my diesels are "burned out" and that the others and the electric motors' axis are "out of center". Is this a mission ender? My guys have repaired everything on the board but we're still dead in the water.

Time to raise your sails!
...you didn't forget to select those when preparing your boat while in the office?...No?...

Yea, this has happened to me too. For some reason, whenever one of my engines is destroyed my sub is dead in the water, even though only one engine is showing as destroyed and the others look fine. If it only happened to your electric engines it wouldn't be so bad, at least you could limp home at night, but if it happened to both sets you're screwed.

D'oh...thought so. Being "out of center" must be funny speak for being knocked of their engine mounts. I did get nailed though, bomb hit directly mid-ship. This wasn't a near miss or anything. Fortunately I saved before hand...

That just happened to me. Got greedy and went after a convoy. I was in a perfect position. Took out 2 medium merchants and got lucky sunk all 4 escorts but their damage to me was done DC struck aft destroyed Rudder transmissions and propeller. My hearty crew fixed ever thing except rudder transmissions. My tired crew and I are just waiting for COMSUBPAC to send the rescue boat or give me a tow. It sucks being in the middle of Pacific ocean and unable to turn. Aiming straight for Philippians. The only good thing that happened is the game crashed on me so this post is useless right now.
