Default Re fuelling from Brake

Can anyone tell me how you are meant to get the fuel from Brake to the submarine?

sail to within 25kms of Brake. Press escape, instead of listing return to port, it should say Dock at Brake.

Click on dock at Brake and it ends the mission. you get the same menu afterwards that you get if you dock somewhere other than your home port (can't upgrade or change torp layout) and then proceed to the next mission...where you start off next to Brake with a full load of fuel, torps, and Beck's.

only problem is that doing this removes your assigned patrol grid to NULL. If you are using commander...you can change this but otherwise it will just say NULL.....just go where ever you want!

Thanks for reply, but when I start the mission I am within 1km of Brake. I then surface, but a Q&R class destroyer then proceeds to sink Brake. Will using the esc method work with this.

Thanks in advance.

Yes I am. I'm also very new to SHIII and find in fascinating but find the instruction manual very poor.

Welcome aboard anyway

You do not need to dock with the Brake in the single mission
The object is to stop the Brake being sunk

Based on the RL sinking of the Brake which was in the process of refuelling 2 uboats when surprised by the RN
