Default [WIP] Improved Empire Freighter

In the next day or two I am going to release a heavily modified version of the Empire Freighter. It incorporates some of the design changes that I have begun to include on several ships in the Merchant Fleet Mod. Below are a few closeups of the alterations. Now the model has a different midships island, ladders on the deckhouses, a new 3d wheelhouse, more detailed lifeboats, and more rigging. The armament has been changed to reflect typical UK and Commonwealth merchant ship armament - now, the late war versions will be armed with 2-pounders instead of 20mm cannon. It will be used by the Netherlands as well as Great Britain and Canada (I found out that the Dutch government-in-exile purchased at least two ships of this type). You can easily add it to the roster of whichever country you want but I don't know of any other nationalities that used them. The superstructure & hull textures have been improved. Skins include green blotch camo (shown here), grey blotch camo, blue blotch camo, two-tone grey and grey overall. Tonnage will stay the same (6800 - 7100 GRT). The download will also have a small preview of the other ships I am going to release.

Every time i think that i want to reload SH4 for another go around i see that someone has posted another wonderful mod to SH3.

All you modders out there have made SH3 an awesome game that has amazing replay ability.

And with all the garbage out there game wise (read sh4) that is saying something good!!

Many thanks!
