Career mission won't start

Hello everyone,

Well i finally decided to get silent hunter 4, so yesterday i installed it and got it running, i played through all the sub school missions so i decided it was time to start a career. Annnnnnd i can't.
When i click on the map to start a mission, i get the briefing then click next, and that takes me to a map where i choose my starting location (docked in the harbour or at sea) so i check the 'docked' box and click on start... nothing happens...click again...nothing happens

so could you guys help me out? Has anyone had that same problem?

My PC specs--> Amd Athlon XP 3000+, 1GB ram, Nvidia G6800 126mb ram
