Default Type IXC/40 Turm of death?

Was enjoying a really good patrol of a very promising career,1943 in my C/40 just got my quad flak upgrade, could have upgraded to TypeIXD2 but with the turm of death its not worth it,I'd sank loads of heavy ships and even my first Gato class sub things were looking great.took on 2 sunderlands with my crack AA crew even manning one gun myself, sadly lost the WO in the attack and sustained some damage to the turm which turned it yellow in the damage screen, both planes shot down and had the repair crew get on the job to fix the turm, when all of a sudden they start dying, all of them and it spread to the rest of the crew leaving just the officers leftcareer ended with the words 'not enough crew'.now this has gone beyond a jokeI'm seriously starting to think not to bother with this game, whats the point of me investing hours/days/weeks/months of my time in a career just for stupid pathetic things like this to happen?I know there's a fix in the pipeline with GWX1.04 for the turm 3 on TypeIX boats but is it worth playing and risking wasting all that time or shall I just wait for GWX1.04?either way this is killing all my enjoyment in this game and I'm really pissed off

It was certain death for only three involved, the WO,sad about that cause he had loads of experience and had been with me since the begining in '39,and the sunderlands, both of which were shot down reducing my hull integ from 92% to 79%,hardly fatal I'm sure you'll agree. Its that damn Turm 3 bug, what I don't understand is I took on 2 wellingtons early on and they did the initial hull damage reduction to 92%,but the bug didn't strike then:hmm: very strange
