I am really thanking about reinstalling this game back into my laptop, is there still a few who still play to help out a new sub driver in the nukes?

Going from WWII boats to nukes looks like a whole new ballgame.

Does any one still have a good download site for SC/SCXIIc/SCU?

SC you can get on eBay or maybe even Amazon. Otherwise go for the Naval Combat Pack which has 688I, FC and SC updated for WinXP. However due to the update the SC version in the NCP has some problems with SCXII ... the sounds are missin (crew response or such) but otherwise its working.

is there a mod to get russian voices when playing russian subs?

There was a russian voice mod floating around on www.subguru.com have a look in there.
