Default Is there a health mod anywhere?

Exactly what it says. Is there a mod to increase sub and crew health? I'm about to restart windows so that means everything has to be uninstalled and Im getting all the mods that mess with stuff. I got the 1000x's torp mod, the 100x's deck gun mod with 32000 rounds of auto ammo and quite a few others. I just wanna be invincible!!!! :p :p :p :p :p

And if there isnt any, can you tell me how to mod it myself by messing with the files. Thanks.

You could save the savegames files and re-instate them when you have re-installed everything you had installed before.

The crew can be wounded?

If you figure out such a mod to make you invulnerable, let me know so I can make them, well, normally vulnerable (like so a 25mm shell to the head will kill a guy) .

In the game now they don;t ever seem to get hurt. the only time I ever see any wounded crew I have a spinning death cam within seconds.

Seems like in game everyone is perfectly fine until you get hit by 1000lb bomb, then everyone dies.

Had a couple of wounded gunners and some peeps in the Ctower after a bomb run from a Zeke. Crash dived and half a day later all was ok (crew healed)
If you try out the "All Medals Mod" I added clear icons when a crew is injured and also dies. Sometimes its hard to see running stock.

Another cool effect is the actual animations of the injured crew, they will start to look totally down and touching their arm sort a in agony

Yeah, it happens sometimes. OTOH I parked next to a ship armed solely with 25mm (odd, since apparently that is entirely impossible according to the dat file ), and let it chew me up until I got bored. Nary a wound.

The only thing I have noticed is after loading a saved career the fatigue level for all of the crew is way up from where it was when I saved on a patrol and it takes approx 8 hrs to return to normal. This may be built into the SH4 programming to discourage do-overs?

@ aanker - the fix for this is to never load a game that was saved in the in-game time interval of [30 mins. to watch change, 30 mins after watch change].

e.g.:
23:30 - 00:30
03:30 - 04:30
07:30 - 08:30
11:30 - 12:30
15:30 - 16:30
19:30 - 20:30
23:30 - 00:30

Save outside these hours, and when you reload your crew will be OK.

I did some more testing last night, I can't figure out how to make all that lovely AAA dangerous to the sub crew on deck without making the sub disintegrate (or suffer massive deck watch casualties) from a DC attack.

You can literally surface next to an aircraft carrier, and assuming they fire at you at all (which is rare, even set to "elite") with their MANY AAA mounts, nothing happens. Nothing at all.

I tested with 40mm, too, also totally ineffective vs submarines or sub crew.
