Default Emergency plz help!!!!

Hi there, I'm new to Silent Hunter 4 (I played SH3 though) and I am having some very annoying problems.

I'm happily sailing in my sub accross the pacific and sink some Jap ships and after a while I turn back towards Pearl then all of a sudden I sink to the bottom of the ocean (700 ft!!!) I thought this was just because had been in a nice battle with some destroyers and finally succumb to my wounds so I thought nothing of it. So I reloaded and avoided the destroyers but I still just sink for no reason. I had no damage what so ever the second time, I hadnt even been shot at so WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG?!?!

I'm using v1.2 no mods.

Certainly the 1.3 patch is a must. TM and RFB are optional. One other thing is to keep an eye on the CO2 gauge. Pre 1.3, even at 0% realism this still worked and you could suddenly find yourself with an asphyxiated crew.

I think what these guys are trying to say is that there is a known 'bug' referred to as the domino damage effect.

The mods they are directing you to deal with this 'bug'.

Here is a good thread on the topic http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...=domino+damage

To whose signature are you referring? Some of my best friends are lunatics. As for the Gods of War, it doesn't seem to take much to piss them off anyway..

SvS, I do like your quotes. May I ask where they came from?

Oh and Welcome to the forum alunatic. I would suggest the first mod you get to be JSGME. IMHO.
