Default Destroyer/Submarine collisions always leading to the destroyer being sunk=Not Fixed

Hello , my first SH4 game after the 1,4 patch , the keel of a destroyer hit the Hull of my gato sub , the destroyer exploded and sank , the gato sub was OK zero damage , this bug was fixed with the patch 1.4 ? , after that, deep charges of another destroyer blow out the rudder of the sub, but on the damage screen the rudder was OK zero damage ,till now the SH3 Game is much better detailed and accurate than SH4

Yeah, the external damage to the rudder (it coming off) seems totally unrelated to rudder function. In all my DC tests I've had many parts blown off and none show (or act) damaged. Haven't blown up a DD yet with a collision, though several have hit me.

Yeah I read about that in the patch notes, and after installing immediately went to Test it out the best way i know how. AAIII (thats Ahead Flank for you non-sailor types) at PD. Sure enough I drew the attention of an escort, was rammed, and survived. The destroyer on the other hand was a little worse for wear, DIW and water up to the main deck.
