mission problems

i downloaded a map that was validated correctly and i saved it to the sh3/data/cfg/singlemissions/english/dday/dday and it didnt load i also tryed to edit an already made mission in the single player missions file, i saved it and it acted as if i never chainged it. i also tryed it as a multiplayer mission. i did uninstall it and reinstall it all over again. the settings are single player setting and i validated it and checked over all of the units and it still never worked. if you have and ideas on how to fix the problem or if you need more detais to answer my question just post and i will read it or answer it. thanks

Ctd may indicate a ship in the mission list that doesnt appear as a valid
unit in the sea folder (or air/land)

ps. not to put to fine a point on it but you did save the mission prior to
trying to copy it into the dday folder yes? (it had to be asked sorry)
