Yet another blast on board a Russian nulcear submarine! Again the brass in the Russian navy are downplaying the incident, which damaged 25 sqaure metres of the subs external hull. I'm no genious on Russian subs, or western subs for that matter so feel free to correct me, but doesn't this recent incident bring serious concerns over the safety of Russian ageing sub fleet? After the Kursk I thought the Russians would really get their act together after the loss of so many lives, but it would appear not. I realised accidents do happen, like when a British submariner lost his life in an accident on a RN sub not so long ago. But the Russian navy seems to have them happen too frequently. What do you guys think? (Sorry if there are some weird typo's using a German keyboard lol everythings different!)
