Default Binocular markings?

I find it very difficult to read the dark degree markings at the top of the binocular view. It looks like the top half of the numbers blend in with the black background.
Is there any particular mod that illuminates those markings in green like the periscope does?

In fact, there should not be any degree markings, like in real life.

I would like to see degree markings in the external view. REAL, no but
neither is the external view. It would just make it easier to use it....

Exactly-in real life you know which direction you're facing-you have peripheral vision-in the game there's nothing to judge your position by-so in this case "realistic" isn't real!

Whilst being on topside having a look around, check out the compass rose. That'll show you which direction you are facing.

Further to that though about bino realisms

when you look through binos and they are properly aligned

the funny two sphere binocular shape image isnt what you see
what you see is a single circle when properly aligned much more
like the image in the periscope.

Agreed, and the view isn´t as stable as in the game. We all shake a little,
