I just load some new mods into my game and found that all my crew was exhausted. One shift was in the 70s, the other in the 80s and the third and active crew in the 90s. May not so bad given there is time to rest, but I just got a convoy sighting less than 20miles away and I cant even go after them because my whole crew is on strike!
Anyone notice this when loading in mods, is there anything modders can do to prevent such things from happening? And no, I didnt leave the ship at battle stations ![]() In fact, I often make attacks without going to battle stations unless Im doing a surface attack(makes no sense to have everyone up and active, even to load fish if Im running silent and trying to evade after a strike). |

I doubt it's mod related. I had this several times in 1.2
Saved at sea, loaded up again and crew is exhausted. I learned to never save at sea again, and play death is inconvenient. I know it does not help you, but here's my 2 cents anyway.........

go back to normal speed first before you save then pause the game. Then do your save and make sure your on the surface as well!
Now only 1 time in 20 do my crew all end up tired where as before it happend very often. What is happening is the game stays in fast mode without sleeping times working before the game shuts down entirly. My Task manager shows it is working in the background until it fully shuts down so if you save in a lets say 256 speed it is still running at that speed without sleep times until a final shut down! |

I also had this happen to me once. I searched for some posts about it
and found some have said you should NOT save near a shift change. And after checking my save, I found that I had saved like minutes before 8AM. Now I always save at least 1 hour+ before or after the shift change is due. Changes are made at 4,8 & 12 both day & night.... JIM

Yes, I save mine midway between shifts and when I load the save again, not much has changed.
