I'm on patrol in January 1941, assigned to grid square ET-25. I'm currently about 1,000 km out, having been slowed down by one hell of a tropical storm.
ET-25 is adjacent to Freetown, on the coast of Africa. I've noticed through radio reports that the sucker is swarming with warships...there is a constant line of 10-11 ships sailing a north-south route just outside the port. It's tempting to go in and see if I can't find something worth a torpedo, but as this is my first experience with GWX, the alarm bells are going off. Anybody patrolled near this area in GWX before? -akula- |
