Just thought I would mention.. This might not solve the issue, but I was thinking.. When I save the game I do not check 'Save Replay'. Maybe people(you) are checking this function and this is why it is creating such large save game files? It could be saving your game and your current patrol replay in the same directory?? Like I said, just a suggestion.. All my save games are 5mb on patrol or 300-500k in port.

Hi,
I save the game always as a new file. when I can reload it, I delete the old one. that works best for me. Earlier I tried to save 'on top' of a saved game. never could load it again.

Interesting, I've just started another career and I've saved over my earlier one whilst on patrol. Hope it works! Fingers crossed!

The huge savegames seem related to Trigger Maru. Or at least that's what I understand from Ducimus' posts. You guys using Trigger Maru by any chance?
