Help for Homeless Fleet Boat

I left Manila for my second patrol in the Searaven. Sank a Mogami-class CA and dropped off supplies to some guerrilas in Formosa. On my way back the anchor symbol disappeared at Manila. So I worked my way south, expended all my fish, and pulled into Soerbaia. Refit option only; fuel only, no torps. So I head south to Freemantle. Again, refit only and fuel only. So . . . off I go around Down Under to Brisbane. Ditto--refit only and fuel. Well, okay, I guess I'm supposed to head to Pearl. Pull into Pearl and . . . refit only and no torpedos.

Where in the hell am I supposed to go when Manila falls?

I'm playing SH4 with 1.3 and no major mods (RFB or TM).

Help!

It seems to me they have really run out of fishes.

You could check your homeport from game files. There was a thread about this but I couldn't find it. Sorry.

Hmm. I read the posts. I checked my file and it says Soerbaia. Problem is, that's the first place I went! I guess I'll go back and give it another shot.

I loaded a previous save, moved to a spot near Soerbaia, and then saved and reloaded. This time the options included "end patrol," which had been greyed out previously.

I'm not sure why I had to do that, but whatever...it worked.
