Default Need Advice

LOL Okay, I'm trapped in shallow water, with like 5% battery left, and a fleet of warships looking for me, and I have no torps and only about 50 rounds left.

They're kinda pissed that I took out a fleet carrier on my way to a photo recon mission (Couldn't pass up that opportunity lol)

Am I properly buggered, or is there some possible way out of this mess?

Tactics?

yup, you're pretty much right and properly buggered http://www.videosift.com/story.php?id=8921

oh, and your best bet would be to run at 1knot as well along the shortest course to deep water

In your best captain jack sparrow voice, call for a "Parlez", blag your way onto the bridge of the nearest destroyer, instigate a mutiny and sail home in your newest addition to the fleet (not forgetting to tow your boat home too).

I'd be shutting the engines off and bottoming her on the ocean floor. Then if you're still alive when the sun goes down, head out at 1/3 and when you are far enough away (and it's still dark) surface and flank it out of there.

-Always choose your battles, never let them choose you.

Perhaps you should ensure you have an escape route next time you attack in shallow waters.

Well I didn't exactly attack in shallow waters. I came up from crash dive depth to investigate nearby sound contacts. Didn't realise until I reached periscope depth that it was a convoy of several destroyers and 2 fleet carriers. I was so close that I had no real option. I popped 6 torps right into the nearest carrier, and into a destroyer right behind me and dove like mad. Somehow escaped the massive depth charge barrage, creeping along running silent and managed to sneak into the bay to finish my objective.

That fleet however, has set up shop in the shallows now, blocking off my escape, and they are bent n revenge lol
