It's an offline campaign for SH3. Adds a lot of inmersion, so it is worth giving a try if you have enough time toplay regularly. Follow the link given by danlisa and learn more

Do you need GWX, or will it run on stock SH3?

Just curious, I'm about to load up SH 3 & give er-a-go... Just how long "ball park figure" in actual hours are required to do a complete campaign? Assuming of course, that you live to finish it...

ha ha...Your kidding right? This is a-game not another 4 year hitch With Uncle...or in this case, Der Fuhrer.
I mean, aren't you able to get through those long empty parts of the (going someplace) by fast forwarding?

I read someplace that it will slow to normal when something is in the area giving you a chanch to then do the search drill...

I've done a lot of canoeing, but never more then a few hundred yards from the shoreline... Ha Ha...I'll be "lost at sea" man, I've got a lot to learn I guess..

I never went any further in math then doing my check book or a little compound interest... angles & sea speeds are going to be a big challenge for my brain...lol..:hmm:

You can up time compression while in the game, then back to 1x when ready boat to attack etc. And instead of heading back to base you can use the Esc key and choose dock at base - but theres no way you could complete a campaign career in a couple of hrs like you asked, a patrol yes but a career will take you a while if your aiming at starting from 1939 and playing your way to 1945.

Ive had the game since 2005 and im yet to finish a career :rotfl: I get so far with one career then decide its time to start a new one . furthest ive got is 1939 to late 1944 and manage to take command of an XXI. Ive lost count on how many careers ive started.

I just started up a new one the other day! :rotfl:

"Oh and welcome to subsim PapaG39" Didn't realize you were new here should of guess with the question you asked. I'll say this before anyone else does, when you get the hang of SH3, download the GWX mod!
