Default Boeing 787 rolls out today

In less than one hour as of this post in fact, at 15:30 PDT (22:30 GMT). Boeing will be webcasting the event live, in several languages. Some satellite TV providers (such as Direct TV) will also carry the event live.

Calm down! I'll have to wait untill September to finally fly in a 777 and there's already a new toy in town?

Oh well, nice wings. They're beginning to actually look like birds aren't they?

Nice to see it take shape. QANTAS has ordered 45 with options for another 60, 20 of the options could be converted soon into orders. Boeing seems to be on a winner.

It will be interesting to see how the Airbus A350 goes aganist it when it rolls out in around five years.:hmm:

It's very funky-looking. Anyone got this for Flight Simulator by the way?

Just noticed that my number of posts is approaching the relevant numbers for a thread on Boeing by the way:rotfl:

My son says the wings remind him of the Klingon Bird of Prey
