I read this article and was shocked to see Prince of Persia: Warrior Within on the Top 10 Worst Games Ever list. I recognized all the others from the many top/worst 10 lists that permeate the internet these days, but that one shocked me.
MetaCritic rates POP3:WW as having around an 83 score which is damn good, and I've played it and it's damn good. How the hell did that title end up on that list? |

Wow, I found the original article from PCWorld:
http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,12...s/article.html Sounds like the author of this article was a POP purist/elitist (for the record, I played the original POP back in the 80s) and didn't really look at what others thought of this title before bashing it. This was a cool game that got a high average review score, but anyway, I'm sure nobody cares since A.) This is PCWorld we're talking about and 2.) it's from 2006. Morans |

Well I did hear that WW deviated from PoP pretty significantly. I mean the simplest way to put it was that in the first one it was very period while the 2nd one had rock music...
But I can tell you that the Two Thrones is the best combination of the two. Classic period puzzles, excellent combat, and no rock and roll... I think. |
