Hi.
Have finally got the hardware needed to sail GWX full-out and and is in the process of learning this mod. I have so far only sailed NYGM (2.5) but got curious after finding out that the asian patrols from Penang only was possible with GWX installed. (WaW2, U-195 IXD2, Klt.z.S. H Sohler ![]() Now the major problem; Is there a fix for the radar area of the snorkel-head in GWX? (There is a fix in NYGM taking care of this).:hmm: The snorkel appear large as the sub itself even when running submerged thus making it quite useless!!! ![]() Maybe this is discussed otherwhere but I have failed to find any thread on the matter. ![]() Cheers /Per

Who told you that's the case in GWX?? There does seem to be a problem with the XXI and the snorkel, but there is a fix for the other boats.

Gentlemen, the snorchel cross section visible to radar problem was corrected and retained since the old original GW version 1.0. The radar cross section has been greatly reduced... but still allows for the possibility of enemy ASW assets to spot the snorchel by visual means or by radar.
