Crew renown

Hey fellow Uboat Kapitans, can u please tell me how I can update the renown on my crew. most of them have been with me since the beginning (now up to patrol 30) and even though they have been awarded medals and promotions, their renown is still at zero. any clues will be most helpful

Crewmen don't earn renown - that's a player thing.

Crewmen build up experience, morale and resistance to fatique through the medals you award throughout the career.

"Pre-experienced" crew come with a renown cost to *you* should you wish to "buy" them.

I had already figured that when you awarded them medals it made them fatigue less, but now i understand about the renown as well.
