You are attacking your 10,000+ ton target in the midst of the convoy, and what happens? Both torpedoes smack into a small merchant that has decided to turn into the path of both your eels!?
I also hate it when the escorts force me to dive too, especiall pre-radar. grr |

What galls me most is when you set up the perfect intercept for a convoy, you've plotted out the bearing and picked out the juicy large tanker in the second column, you've got the speed and AOB already in the attack computer and the sodding convoy decides to change tack

I hate being at PD, perfectly lined up on a fat C3 or similar, only to find that I've drifted into one of the convoy lanes, where another (usually neutral!) big one proceeds to run me over. Even if it ISN'T fatal, at that point, everybody and their grandkids know you're there, and are uniformly unhappy about it.

Yep, happened to me just now, was perfectly lined up to blast the last 2 big ones out of a convoy and the whole sodding bunch changes course, ships all over the place
![]() Never seen a C3 do 15 knots before but this one did to get back into its row, this of course caused me to miss, blegh! |
