Default Favorite Mini-mods?

Hi Folks!

My SH3 experience thus far has been just stock Sh3 with 1.4 patch and GWX along with SH3 Commander. I was looking around for some mini-mods and see that some are still being made.

I'm looking to add a little more flavor to my game and seen a few so far that interest me. Somewhere along the way I noticed some mods that I think could work to make the gamebetter. They are: 1)War Radio Mod, 2)Moon mod? - corrected sunrise and sundown times, 3)glowing ocean water mod for night - glow reduction.

Don't have it yet but Sh3 Gen looks like a must have.

I've read the newbie thread sticky which doesn't mention too many mini-mods..just the majors. I've only been sailing for a few hundred hours ....so what am I missing? What are the must have mini-mods?

Many thanks for any tips!

Cheers

Now, is that corrected time -zone mod a must have?

Cheers!

Not a dud, here is a thread regarding some stuff. On the filefront sites you will see listed, there are some good mods. Go into each and check them out:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=100135

Here is one that has alot of quality stuff:http://hosted.filefront.com/TikigodsMods

Hopefully they are up to date.

Plus: Sober's 3D Waves
Tikigods Engine Telegraph Mod, adds sound when you are adjusting speed.
Longer Wakes Mod
Kriller's Sun Mod
jcwolf has a great Web Site with lots of stuff as well, not sure of the name of it though.

Search the threads for these.

Good Hunting

That looks like a real find and it is,but there's no description of what any of the mods do.I know some are self explanitary but some aren't.I wish modders would put in there description a little note telling people wether its already in GWX or another popular super mod(which alot allready are)and if it isn't what it does,it would make things so much easier for thickys like me

Thanks a lot RDP!!! I'm really not too sure which if any of these mods are already in GWX but those links look very good and many thanks to all the modders!. It seems Sober's 3d waves is pretty popular so I'll have to give it a go if I can find it.

nikbear is right...There are plenty of mods with no descriptions or screenshots which makes it difficult to select. But thanks to the modders and the GWX crew it looks like this game can only get better and should be playable for years. I should have a projector by then.

Yaaahooooiiieee!!!!

Thanks again!

Cheers
