Whaling Ship Gun position fault

Hi, I just encountered a Whaling ship in US waters & they were equipped with 4 AA guns, the 2 in the front are positioned ok:

However the rear 2 are floating in the air:

We have had this issue in the past with other ships but for the life of me I can't remember how it was fixed, anyone have any suggestions? by the way I'm running GWX 1.2.

The nodes need lowered to the deck.

Thanks for the heads up Privateer, I assume there is nothing wrong with my setup, so it is a design fault?

Yes it was a temp fix by removing the guns

IIRC Ichy is moving the nodes for 1.04

I just checked & I am running 1.03! The NCVW 1.03 folder only has the NCVW.cfg & NCVW.sim files, what file should it have been?

The nodes position is in the dat file, we're working to correct the guns,(it's a known bug), and it'll be fixed for the next release.

I did it already some times ago. Save your precious time & use it for 1.04 if you like it.

I'm glad someone fixed it - getting ships' guns in the right position can take SO MUCH TIME ... in my opinion moving nodes is much harder than doing the 3d modeling itself.

I remember there are some other ships with the same error. Don't know wether they're included in GWX. I'll look for that and fix it if necessary.

The problem are not the nodes by themselves but the restrains applyied in the sim file what are troublesome...

The other ship in GWX with these hovering gunners is the 'Fleet Auxiliary Ammunition'. The guns were disabled for temporary fixing [bbw mentioned it above] but I think particularly that ship should be armed - so I enabled and fixed the guns' positions.

fixed NAMM.dat & NAMM.eqp

Feel free to use it in GWX 1.03/4 or anywhere.
