So if he is dead, does it matter? It seems like this question is turning into "If a tree falls in the forest, does anyone hear it?" Its not as if anyone knows where he is, and it seems to me like the US is disinterested in making a concerted effort to find him.

Yes, I see the two articles are very much alike, but why is yours dated September 2006 and today's May 14, 2007?

The First Post is pointing to a claim that bin Laden died earlier this month, that is the news. Perhaps they just like stirring things up ...

I wouldn't make any statements about his breathing or anything without proof but knowing him he probably had his corpse blew up to make it kinda difficult. :p
