Default Friendly Or Not?

Hi,

In the game how can we tell when a port or harbour falls into enemy hands? The port anchor icons get removed as time passes so I know that they are no longer useable but the colours of ports don't change to signify loss of control. This has lead me to some nasty moments thinking a port is safe only to find that the Japanese have it!! In SH3 once the Germans took a town / port it's colour changed. Seems this crucial aspect is missing in SH 4 or is it me that is missing something?

I have had a nasty wake up call doing that as well. It would give me a better sense of how the campaign is progressing as well.

Like u wrote, only the ports with anchor can support u
There are also radio messeges when the port is lost.
I think that in real life they dont colorised maps.
So come on! Dont complain for such details, be a real skipper!

What about the blue anchors with white stripes? Are these under attack or something?

I THINK that means there's a subtender there. Not sure though.

I searched my boat from stem to stern, shes definately not one of my crew.......though I have my suspicions about a couple of them in the aft torpedo room........
