Hi all !
I wanted to ask you this question; Does every one know if a mod where you can change lights in the boot (red, white & blue) exists ? Thanks a lot See U ![]() |

Red lights come on automatically at dusk ("rig for red"). Blue lights aren't in the game. There has been some discussion as to what they where for. Nobody knows for sure, but the best guess so far has been silent running.

Weren't they there for night vision? If I do recall correctly, they used to think that Red was the best colour for night vision, but much later on they discovered that Green was superior.
I would assume that the red lights in the boat are for being able to move easily from inside to the bridge and be able to see in the dark. |

blue wouldn't work very well if you are reading the map either -
but in theory you should be able to just change the colour filter if you really wanted to have a different colour for the night... |

Im not 100% certain, but I think the blue lights were used in preparation for morning light. As Red light was used in preparation for night time and white throughout the day.

I am not 100% sure on this, but I think the change of light is hardcoded - so unless you have an SDK you are not really able to do much about it... until then you gonna have to change the lightbulb manually
