Improved Escorts
Sorry this was ment to be in sh4 mod workshop
After playing many missions and finding it was rare to have an escort even drop a depth charge on me I decided to see if I could fix this matter. By looking at some other mods and comparison of my GWX settings I came up with the following settings. It is verry simple to perform this mod only two files need to be changed. Sim.cfg and Sensors.cfg . They are both located in your SH4/Data/Cfg folders. Firstly BACKUP the original files and put them somewhere safe. open Sim.cfg with a text editor , I just used notepad. replace the contents with the following lines and save. I just want to make it clear that I have changed these files to make the game perform to the level I like to play. In no means do these settings represent historical accuracy. I was just sick of playing Turky Shoot and the only way it seemed to get an escort to chase me was to deliberatly piss it off. Anyway ive found these settings to my fancy and dont worry not every enemy ship will be down your throat its not that radical a change.
