Service Transfer

Hey does anyone know if any Navy Officers transfered to the Waffen SS or to Army?
Would it even be possible?

I'm not sure about transfer to the Heer or Waffen-SS, but some members of the 3rd Flotilla (under FK Zapp) became an infantry regiment after the Ubootbasis stopped being used for U-boat operations. Ref: http://uboat.net/men/zapp.htm

Don't have any hard and fast details at hand right now (not at home) but I do recall U-boat crews being pressed into service alongside security units in defence of naval facilities, particularly in the latter months of the war :hmm:

I think in all of those instances when KM personal was pressed into service as infantry they still remained with the KM and were not transfered to the army. Zapps people for example formed the Marine Regiment Zapp.
