Default Induction Valves

Hi All;

I am just curious about the induction system on these subs.

I got to wondering last night while my boat was in rough seas. Where exactly are the inductions located? How did they operate the engines in rough weather without pulling water into the engines.

I haven't been able to pick them out in photos, unless I'm just net recognizing them.

Im assuming you are referring to intake air for the diesels and "fresh air".

There up on the conning tower somewhere.

Theres a thread here on "cutaway" views check those out.
