It is March 13, 1943. When I docked at Pearl about 6 weeks earlier I was given a new sub. I was flown to Australia and had my office there.
So I went out and raged a buttload of terror on the Japanese and after finishing two missions I casually headed back to my bearth in Australia. So here is the problem: I AM NOT ALLOWED TO DOCK. I can refit, I can forget about it, but docking? Nope. So I then ran across the pacific to Hawaii and Pearl Harbor was the same thing. I cannot dock there either. So short of taking my boat to every single port in all of the Pacific, how do I find out which port is my home port???

Check your map for and anchor that is tilted to the left, that should be your home port..

yep, the game will do that to you so before heading in its always a good idea to visually confirm your home port has the tilted anchor and hasn't moved to somewhere else on you

Usually you'll get a radio message to inform you of the change but after dealing with all the spam you tend to ignore those.

Okay now I'm pulling my hair out. So here is the situation.
I have two missions I received Both are completed. I saved the game outside Brisbain which is supposed to be my home port. I saw what you guys wrote so I went back to that point ... and the Brisbain is slanted to the left. And yet I cannot dock!!! Any ideas on why I cannot dock? I had radioed my status and was told to go do whatever I want to do.

If Brisbane is your home port and you saved near Brisbane, try sailing way out of range - 100 nm or so and come back. Maybe the Dock - Refit screen will pop up then. It sounds like something is jammed and this might fix it.
What class of boat are you in? Good luck. Last edited by aanker; 06-17-16 at 01:10 PM. |

Puzzle Solved!!! Using the suggestion above I moved 107nm away from my port (tilted anchor) and then looked to returning to port. Low and behold it was no longer marked as my port of call. When I zoomed out I was moved to Freemantle! And...once there was able to dock without problems. Whew.
Thanks for the suggestions and help.

Glad it worked. Boats of certain classes based in Brisbane sometimes get reassigned based on the date.
Happy Hunting!
