battery suddenly discharging, mission over???

I am on the surface on a photo recon mission to Yokohama Harbor. Suddenly, my batteries are down to 50%, then 25%, then discharged, then mission over...wtf???

Did I have some damage somewhere? I can't find where. I goto damage control, and can't drag anything into the queue. My pumps are red, as is something else (can't remember what Atm), but I started a new game and they are red there too. So what gives?

Btw, I have just the store version...no patches yet...

There was some damage modeling issues with the "vanilla" version.

I would recommend patching asap.
