Default Diving Depth for the XXI?

Just curious how deep some of our intrepid and daring Kapitans have made this thing go?

I've made it all the way down the few times I've tried this boat.

Oh wait, you probably mean how deep while surviving, huh?

Well, IIRC, in Stock SH3 it was something like 300-350m which was partly the reason for the 400m depth guage mod. However, in GWX i'm not too sure as I've never used the beast.

Do you want to try it and let us know?

I tried in Multiplayer

the XXI can go to 300m in no time, no problem
around 350m you are going to get damage thought.

That will need to be corrected.

From the specs of the real thing -

Diving depth
Usual diving depth 133 metres
Normal fighting depth 220 metres
Destroying depth 330 metres

That's the whole idea....you have to guage what is safe and what is not If you were certain of the boats maximum depth you would have an advantage the RL kaleuns did not have

I think I know what I'm doing tonight.

Single mission, XXI, deep as I can go.

We'll see where I can go in GWX.
