Default I feel like a noob for asking this...

I could never figure out all this time how to clear a plotted course on the map. When I try to erase it, no go. So if I mess up, I am screwed. What gives? How do you clear or edit a plotted course?

Select the eraser from the map toolbar at upper right of the map screen. Drag it over to the endpoint that you want to erase. Rhe small flag and the preceeding will turn red. Left click. That will delete that endpoint. If you erase an endpoint in the middle of a plotted course the lines between the other points will automatically realign.

or you can click the plot course tool and click on the waypoint closest to you and move it to another spot, then clock somewhere else on the screen and it will place a new waypoint - erasing all other subsequent waypoints.

You can also use the plot course tool to move each individual waypoint as you desire.
