Default Question for GWX guys...

Two sounds files included in the mod I'm wondering about:
"\data\Sound\Music\Menu_Master LOOP.ogg"

"\data\Sound\Music\going_down.ogg"

...where are these from? Especially "going_down", that's really got some remarkable orchestration to it.

HI XanderF,

They are from the Call of Duty soundtrack. Pegasus Bridge and I forget the other.

Installation instructions can be found in the GWX manual, there is an online viewable version available, click ON my sig to find it. It contains important info about the installation, read it carefully.

Just FYI, your current career will likely be incompatible with GWX.

I guess you're still on stock
well I have bad news

your current carreer will not work when you install GWX you have to start a new one.

if you do not like that, the only option for you is to make a dual install

now to save your career m8 , you have to sacrifice some disk space.

go to programfiles>ubisoft
rename the folder silenthunterIII into something else for example STOCK SH3

then insert the CD of SH3 and click launch the setup
now its going to ask you a question click ''repair''
(because you renamed the silenthunterIII folder into something else the setup thinks you miss all the files so he will create a total new installation of SH3 right next to it.)

patch the new installation to 1.4b and install GWX over it

now you have 2 installations
but! both will share the same save files so BE very carefull in choosing them when you load a save.

remember which captains name belongs to the right installation while you are going to continue your career

good luck

I'd advise you install the SH3Cmd 2.7 plus the SH3Cfg file
If your going to use multiple installs I’d suggest a separate install of SH3Cmdr for each plus an install of MultiSH3.

guess i'd start from scratch!.. so here's wat i did..

1. install a fresh copy of stock SH3.
2. Update it to 1.4b
3. install gwx
4. install gwx 1.03 patch
5. install jsgme
6. install sh3 commander.

anything else that i should be worried about!..
