Default How did the A button Crash get past any sort of testing?

Did they not press the A key when they developed this game

The issue actually stems more from the international to US imperial conversions implemented in the 1.1 patch. (null) is passed to the Unit of measure (Feet/Metres) in the crew response when you have imperial units enabled. You don't get the crash in Metric.

It may not have been caught early enough after they implemented the Imperial measure option.

When you are testing larger issues resulting from recent changes in code, yes, something as simple as hitting the 'A' key can be missed.

As a workaround there are mods to get around it until patch time, check in the SH4 Mods forum.

Hope this helps.
