Default Gyroangles and offset angle question

Is there any way or will there be any way to set the torps gyroangles or offset angles manually rather than either steering the boat or going thru the whole process of id'ng the ship, entering AOB, speed, stadimeter?, you could do this in SH1 and also manually input the data on to the tdc rather than doing it thru the scopes and the position keeper worked perfectly. IMO it is sometimes more comfortable in certain situations "firing from the hip" rather than going thru the whole process for every single target you encounter.

Play with the offset angle by adjusting the setting in the torpedo setting screen to the left. It can be adjusted any degree setting to right or left of your choosing.

From the screenshot archive by woofiedog: Where it says "spread angle". You can play with it with your mouse by dragging to change settings.

Thanks, i tought of doing this however with all the bugs reported with the TDC i really didn't have the confidence of wasting my torps...but i guess if you're saying it's ok do it (fingers crossed to not see a torpedo running amok and changing course after being fired).
