Default Shift+F11 (odd one)

*WARNING* This will probably kill your current game

I accidently pressed shift whilst pressing F11.
I know, I know, but these things happen.
Anyway, windows went "beep" so I ctrl+alt+delete to see what's up.
There's a box on the desktop that says someting like:
"Capture sequence - OK - Cancel"
If you OK it and go back into the game it's one hell of a FPS killer.
I assume this is for replay capture? Anyone? Is it something to do with XP?

It's been long enough now I don't remember what the key was for screenshots in SH3, but I do remember that if you hit the wrong key it would go into a "movie-making" mode, except it took a screenshot every second or so, and kept on doing so until you pressed the right combination to stop it.

That sounds like what happened to you, and yes, it did bring frame rates to a screeching halt.

STRG-F11: screen capture

SHIFT-F11: capture sequence

It's the same as in SH3, although this time it's not mentioned in the manual, like so many other things...

LOL:rotfl:
Your right, it's a sequence capture alright. I've got about 150 .bmp's in the SH folder

Is it posible to disble this function from the key board ?

A semiclon in the keyboard map is enough to disable it ?

Now that you mention it, that's what I found too.

On a more serious note, this FPS killer mimics exactly what I've come across randomly. I have posted about this before. Sailing in the middle of nowhere, no other ships etc. and suddenly my FPS will drop drastically.
... And no, I hadn't pressed shift+F11
