Newb q

This might be at the wrong place or totally stupid q but I need to know
I'm patrolling the requested area like a madman, but no ships enter my area.
Sometimes I see ships not too far away and head straight towards them trying to calculate approx where They'll be when I arrive but.... I never find any, int rainging missions I do but when it really matters I dont.
Please someone give me a few hints on how to get in the middle of enemy ships
My radar....well its a story of its own, its not working, I can turn it on in traingin but not in missions, bug ?

this is a link on how to calculate a contacts exact position an will teach u how to intercept, yes its for sh3 but its the exact same pricipal as sh4 so it will work.
it might seem tricky at first but it is soooo simple to use and is very effective.

It looks rather complex at first but I'll give it a go and hopefully raise the norwegian fleets respect.

It's been my experience that the Balao's radar just doesn't work.
