Default Increasing depth charge lethality?

How do I do it.

I want to make SHIII's depth charge attacks more dangerous, to compensate for the destroyer AI's inability to sink me.

Thanks,
Tony

You can use the mini tweaker tool to boost the yield and the radius of the ashcans. That will make more deadly.

Make small adjustments and then test. If you aren't careful, it is easy to create a situation where a DC will kill your sub with one blow.

It's funny; long ago I downloaded the mod that decreases lethality. It was observed then that the escorts never missed, and the 25-meter kill radius was far larger than real life, so that mod reduced it to 8 meters. That way you could realistically be depth-charged for hours and possibly survive.

But, you have to play the way you want, so good luck.

Well, I've used the mini tweaker to up the depth charge radius to min 20 max 50 in the depthcharge.zon file.

Still the escorts are having a hard time damaging my boat when I am submerged. Very strange.

I've no other mods in SHIII except for GWX, camera shake and hollywood damage.

Very strange.

Drop the power from your fore and aft shiekds and disengage your cloaking device then see if that makes a difference. Otherwise it's pointless you having Hollywood Damage cos your never gonna see any
