I was just going alone, in till I spoted a task force with 3 carriers. I was low on fuel but decided to take one out. I didnt use that much fuel doing that. I have been serching for the right places to dock out but they are all taken by the IJN. Now I decided to go and dock in the docks of Australia. problem is I dont have the fuel to go there. Now I am stranded. What do I do now? Is there a way to get fuel?

Can't you change your gameplay options and give yourself unlimited fuel?

You can recharge your batteries by just sitting on the surface and limp your way home by submerging and using electrics. I've never understood how one could recharge batteries without the diesel engines but there you go.

Unless you want to spend weeks and weeks getting back, you're screwed. The same thing happened to me on my first patrol.
![]() I just reloaded and did the patrol over again, making sure to watch my fuel. Use 2/3 engine setting, it provides far more range than standard on the same amount of fuel.
