Default what am I not doing?

hello all, me again. Not been on for a bit. I spent AGES on my second patrol, I got a legal kill and was then prowling around looking for the next one for hours - didn't want to have to go back with torpedoes still in the rack, so that was a fair time, and then waddya know, without any clues that it was unhappy, Windows threw a wobbly and I had to reformat C: drive. Tch. The game was ok as I had that parked on another logical drive, so only had to install the original game - but the saves were on the C:drive ( I have moved the whole My Docs folder now) so I lost the lot and have had to start from scratch. Well, I don't mind that. I went back to the Naval Academy, and as I have improved a fair bit I sailed through the Navigation test in about five minutes, only I have done it three times now, and surfaced each time once it is confirmed complete, and sailed a fair way back towards my starting point - but STILL it has not given me an exam pass, even though I got all the greens. What am I not doing I wonder? It passed me well enough before, and I wasn't half as good at it then. Hmph

Welcome back Shewolf.

This has happend to me before now, and I think it's a bug(I'm sure that someone will know for sure)

However, as you've already done the academy thing once or twice already, try copying this over your naval academy word document, which is found in your save career folder, in My Documents. Back up your original first

Exam0=true
Result0=1000.000000
Exam1=true
Result1=1000.000000
Exam2=true
Result2=1000.000000
Exam3=true
Result3=1000.000000
Exam4=true
Result4=1000.000000

Gets you a big fat pass

Are you sure that you've been playing the exam and not the unmarked test? I've done that before. Made me feel daft!

Yep, in the upper left corner of the screen you can choose between "training" and "exam", only the exam will be graded.
