Campaign weirdness

I ran a couple campaigns out of Pearl (1941) and on the second mission, it kept repeating for the third and fourth time to drop of troops on Okinawa after completeing each previous mission. Is this a known anamoly?

Also, how do you complete a Lifeguard mission? I hung out at the designated point for 5 days then started taking pot shots and sampans, junks and fishing boats and never got a complete mission whikle hanging around in the slot. Is this also a known bug or what do I need to do to move on?
